I am currently bringing myself up to speed with Unity. It seems a great tool, but haven't got around to using it yet!
Personal Experience
However, I found the course not to my tastes and have decided to start developing games in my own time. I'm currently working part-time whilst looking for a job in the games industry as a designer or programmer.
As a gamer, I enjoy playing all types of games from competitive (StarCraft II, League of Legends) to single-player (Dishonored, Mark of the Ninja, Amnesia) to casual (Marvel: War of Heroes, Mario Kart). If I had to choose my favourite game of all time...I doubt I could. It'd be between Sonic 2, Crash Team Racing and Dishonored. Each are favourites for their own reasons!
Outside of gaming, I like to play guitar and Magic: the Gathering. I think RockSmith is a great game for all guitarists who love video games! It's a great tool to learn and keep engaged with playing for long periods of time!
